I love a good political thriller, and one involving different nationalities sounds juicy. I'm drawn to this book because the review indicates that the story has proper character development, so I will sample it to decide its fate.

I think based on your review that this is one of those could almost happen any time novels. I was already picturing in my mind who would want the US to be blamed for this and why. I am glad you enjoyed the novel and I think I will also. Thanks for the thorough review.

I very much appreciate an in-depth review. I was intrigued by the free sample of the book that I read but I was unsure of how much character development there would be throughout the rest of the book. I am glad to see that from your review there appears to be rather good character developments which I like! Your review definitely made me consider reading the rest of the book despite it being of a genre I haven't really delved into before!

A suspensful political thriller which mainly speaks about the controversial bombing of hospital in Syria by who are suspected to be American drone. The story is fast paced thus making the readers to become acquainted with it quickly.

I don't read politic thrillers much, I, unfortunately, have no interest in them. I'm glad the author managed to accomplish some great things in the book like character development. All too often characters just stick to cliches or have a lack of development. I'm glad you enjoyed the book. Thanks for the review!

I think this sounds like a great story for those who like this genre. I don't really enjoy political thrillers or even action-packed books, so I will probably pass on this. I am glad to read that it was rated so highly. I also like the cover. Thank you for the review.

I reviewed this book too but wasn't quite as keen. The almost complete lack of meaningful female characters meant it didn't appeal to me personally.

Thanks for the review! The bombing of Aleppo ties in perfectly with global current events. I could see such a disaster happening with our current leadership. I'm glad to hear that the characters are well-developed. I appreciate when hardened characters like Philip are given well rounded characterization.

Political thrillers aren’t my favorite, but I love books with multidimensional characters. Although this one doesn’t seem like a book I’d enjoy, I’m glad the author successfully created an engaging plot and motivated characters.

Great review, sounds like an enlightening book to read. I'm guessing it's a work of fiction, doesn't say anything about the genre in the review.
