In summary, I think the book would appeal to readers who are looking for a light and fun book that is not overly complex. The story is about family secrets, infidelity, murder and also has lots of good humor throughout. The characters keep the story moving and it’s one of those books once you start reading you can’t put it down. I also plan to go back and read the prequel to this book Pocket Dial because it will shed more light on Jennifer’s personality.

Sometimes I feel like this is exactly the kind of book I need: an engrossing but light-hearted story. I enjoy trying to solve mysteries and I love stories that deal with secrets. The witty, humorous dialogues are a big plus.

From a sampling, this book had many interesting and classic crime/mystery elements. While it makes the reader want to read the prequel, it works well as a stand alone. Well done.

I like your review and I am glad that you enjoyed this book so much. I like that this book was different from the typical mystery genre in that there is comedy. I think that Jennifer and her friend Kat trying to figure out who killed Jennifer's father reminds me a little of Nancy Drew. I do agree that the police shouldn't have asked Jennifer for help in their investigation.

I love the sound of this book. I don’t typically enjoy fiction too much, but I do love a good laugh, and the comic relief that this book is supposed to have sounds too good to pass up. I’m definitely putting this on my To-Read list.
