Dark humour is a great addition to a crime thriller. I always enjoy this kind of dialogue, in what would otherwise be a very serious conversation. This seems to be quite cleverly written and I’m excited to get stuck into it, but I’ll be reading Pocket Dial first!

A light novel full of funny dialogues even though it unveils a dark theme sounds right up my alley. I like when characters keep evolving and making the story move. I kind of understand this book is a standalone, so it's much better.

Judging from the review this sounds like it will be a very good book. Crime thriller and father living a double life. I'm all in when it comes to reading this novel.

Her father's been poisoned. Jennifer needs to find out why, but she starts coming across more of his secrets. This sounds like an interesting thriller.

I like books that are light and fun and not overly complex. The plot twist at the end has me intrigued so I may add this book to my reading list. Great job on your book review!

Great review. I enjoy crime and thriller novels. This one seems to have an interesting and captivating plot twist. I know the protagonist would eventually uncover the real cause of her father's death, but I wonder what type of double life her father lived, and how she would be able to handle the truth. I like this book. I'll add it to my list. Thank you for sharing.

I liked this one from the start. I enjoyed the humour with which it is written. It seems everyone has a secret past. I also would like to read the prequel to this novel,

I really enjoy those kinds of reads where you fail to predict the ending and are always lefr at the edge of your seat. Jennifer is desperate for justice for her father and freedom of her mother, so she does the extreme in order to find the murderer. Really loved this plot!

Thank you for the interesting review! When I first saw the cover for this book I thought it was about drug abuse and rehab. Learning that it is instead a suspense thriller piques my interest. I'm curious about the secrets the father was keeping and how they impacted his death. I'm looking forward to diving into this book!
