Toxic side effect is like suspense thriller story written by Sandy Magner is a story which revolves around a lady Jennifer life. She is the main character and depicted having recurring unstable life with two broken marriages. To make her life worse in the beginning of the story she loses her father suddenly with unnatural death. Further her close relatives coming into circle of suspicion for the unnatural death. It seems like problem from all sides impounding upon her mercilessly.

The author had maintained good suspense which did not allow me to put the book down. One may not guess that who is the real culprit was until one reaches that line in the book where it is revealed. I completed the reading within a day. The plot was crafted well using many of surprises in the story with sudden twists and turns and that is what it makes to sticky.

To make the story exiting characters are well set with typical habits and attitudes towards other characters. And all the feelings and expressions of the characters are depicted well like in real life situations and that is why it easily pulls the reader into the story. I liked the way dilemma in the mind of the main character was depicted making the Jennifer always to make hard choice between two. The suspicion overrules the Trust between the mother and daughter due to unusual circumstances they face.

Besides all the suspense and thrills there were certain pitfalls which while depicting the play. Say for example like certain body gestures in the scene sometimes looked little weird and unusual in possibility. Several times in the play the use of dirty language seemed to me little more than required for depicting real life like situations which also made me feel little awkward. It may be dependent upon likes of different readers and some could be ok with even more of it. But as per me it was ok in moderate and could have been used sparsely to show the frustration of the characters. Due to this only little awkwardness I felt I could not give full stars

Looking at the whole picture I finally decided to give 3 out of 4 stars for this book. I mean to say this is ok good book to read once like any other suspense story. Like other stories it does give some morale to reader about maintaining complexity in relations and its repercussions

Lady Jennifer's life sounds like it is surrounded by a lot of negative energies. The plot is truly intriguing. Thank you for your detailed review.

You certainly make the book sound exciting - the use of crude language in literature doesn't bother me if it's appropriate to the character and setting, but we all draw our lines in different places on this one.

I have stumbled on this book a couple of time and I wasn't sure what the content will be like. I do think the title is a bit misleading. You have piqued my interest with this review and I will definitely give it a go.
