Review of Create the Life You Want

[Following is a volunteer review of "Create the Life You Want" by Raymond P. Gerson.]
I was very impressed by the content presented and Mr. Gerson's writing. As a counselor, myself, I thoroughly enjoyed the end of chapter reviews and reflections. The author presented a very "personable" feel which was evident throughout the book's entirety. This book truly rates as a top notch book on self-care and self-reflection.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone on the "struggle bus" of life, but especially those in their 30's because that is a time when life seems to present the most struggles. The author presents a clear and concise way of identifying barriers and shared these as "no currents" and "yes currents."
I appreciated the writer's ease of writing and the ways in which he showed his own vulnerability to the reader, sharing mistakes he had made in this journey of life and love. I also appreciated the resources he provided within these pages, especially referencing, the "Guides." I feel as though I have a better way of looking at my own life and making changes to achieve the life I want.
