Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R. F. Kristi is an interesting novel about the Inca, her family and friends. Inca is a smart Siberian Kitty, who lives in Kensington, London with her Family. Inca family members are Cara, Fromage, Charlotte, Mom, and Aunt Florence. Cara, is Inca's sister, she is the prissy one in the family, well-groomed, proper, and very attached to Mom. Fromage, Inca's brother, a cheese expert, he considers himself as the brain behind the success of their cheese business, he likes to yap non-stop. Charlotte, is a dwarf hamster, and Fromage best buddy. She listens to Fromage, because she is committed to Fromage, she is sharp and intelligent. Mom, is known to humanoid as Missy, but the kitties call her Mom. She runs the cheese shop, the shop is situated in the heart of Kensington, London.

Ned, is Inca's neighbor, and has a dog. When Ned's house was to be forfeited by Mr. Finchley's Nephew, Inca and her fellow cat, were contacted by Boss who is Ned's dog. Boss, needed their detective skills to retrieve the Will that proves that Ned is the owner of the property. Inca, and company had retrieved the Will at Ned's house with the help of Boss. The mission was successful and truly Inca had demonstrated to be a super-duper detective cat. A detective cat par excellence.

Inca, and family had migrated from Paris, France to Kensington, London. She is the eldest kitty in the family. They love eating cheese, play with Mum, and their neighbor's pet. They have an aunt who lives in Paris, France, she visits Inca's family on holidays. The book is adventurous, entertaining, it's captivating, full of suspense. The story was set twelve days before Christmas, each day with it's task and experiences.

This book captured my attention right from the first few pages. The characters are awesome and the story is good. The illustration of the characters was well detailed and cute. I am a lover of cats, I wish I had such cat that is smart and intelligent as the Inca. Each character in the book has his or her unique abilities. It is an absorbing story that is sure to keep you curled up on the sofa for hours.

I am a reader of Inca book series, but this one is the real deal. I liked everything about the book, I could not find weaknesses in the story. The editing is splendid, there are no issues with spelling, grammar and typos. I rate this story 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend this book to kids, lover of kids and a lover of pets.

Great review! I also liked this book. The only thing that I didn't like was how at times Inca seemed a little self-centered. But I agree with you that the book would be great for young readers.

I just read this one. I had never read the other ones in the series. I did enjoy it, it's humorous and unique, but there are a lot of characters to keep track of! That part was difficult. Definitely a book an adult and child can read together over several nights.
