No Sense Christmas Poems for Children by M.J. Cousins are twenty five Christmas poems that were written for the young at heart. It is written in a way to help everyone who reads it move into a forgotten world. Each poem tells a story that helps young and old, of a more simpler way of life. Each child's experience in these poems takes on a life of its own, and draws the reader and those that listen into the story.

It tells of Christmas characters of Mr. Santa, Mrs. Santa, elves, giving of presents, or one's self, in a way of helping others who need help. Sometimes one forgets their experience as a child. The dreams they have, about growing up. The simple things we learn about as a child, in child like ways. To often we forget the greatest gift that Christmas can give to one who listens. When we have troubles in growing up with discouragement or problems, we can have some one who helps us.

The author’s writing style is creative in capturing the reality of imagination through the child's heart. It leaves one in thought of a lesson that needs to be shared by all. The characters are real and imaginary, each with their struggles, desires, and victories.

What I liked most about this book is that the author puts us readers into a child's life. The way the child uses small sentences to say things. But, says what is important, I can relate the way a child thinks.. So that a child could understand the profound thought, in a simple way. Each poem teaches the true meaning of Christmas.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because it has excellent content that captures the child's heart and imagination. It has no mentions of pornography, profanity or violence, typos, spelling or grammar problems.

There was nothing I did not like in the book. it is a book that will make good impressions of being good, doing right things to others. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to teach their kids good virtues.
