Who Told You That You Were Naked? is a nonfictional book with ten chapters written by a retired and well-trained Presbyterian theologist by name William E. Combs. He decided to recap and retell the incidence that happened in the historical garden of Eden in a simple and clever way so that the reader may understand the intends of the Supreme creator in the light of His words. The introduction of the book is a very interesting part in the sense that it reflects the author creative mind in giving the reader an imaginary picture of how the early humans were able to live amicably with today's wild animals and how they were able to showcase their technological know-how in their given mandate of keeping the garden.

I would say that the book is loveable and highly recommended for Christians and those who are not Christian but open minded in religious matters will find this book interesting as it covers many concepts of great importance. For example, the concept of sin, righteousness and faith amongst others were intensively considered. Also the reader will enjoy rich referencing which were obtained from the Holy Bible. Apart from Biblical references, the author also added his personal life stories and even ensured that each chapter of the book has study questions which I see as an unprecedented style of engaging one's reader.

The author did a wonderful work for his literal ability to convey his reader on a journey from the creation of the first man Adam and the wife Eve and the series of events that happened after they both disobeyed the singular instruction given to them by God. The book do not only focus attention on man but it also pay reasonable attention on man's environment especially in the way the first couple Adam and Eve related with the various species of animals and plants just before their transgression.

Although most of the views of the author were not contrary to common beliefs but there are some arguable views depending on the knowledge level and understanding of the reader on God's words. However, the author explanations on walking with God will help any reader to ignore any argument and focus on the real thing than chasing shadow. I believe strongly that every reader will learn at least one thing from this book.

On a general note, the book is easy to read and void of grammatical errors and I will rate it 3 out of 4 stars for the author's uncommon narrative skill and the editorial work of the book.
