Review of Worldlines

[Following is a volunteer review of "Worldlines" by Adam Guest.]
Worldlines by Adam Guest is an intriguing and compelling science fiction novel about Gary Jackson, a physics student who had a near-death experience in his past; his best friend Sinead; and his girlfriend Melissa, and how that one event might be the starting point of different worldlines. I've particularly enjoyed this book's narrative style, which makes you closer to the reader. Throughout the story, as the readers begin to understand better what is happening, it's very noticeable the change in the narrative, even when it's the same main character telling their thoughts and views. I also enjoyed the comical narrative that was set in the beginning and got more and more serious as we went on.
This book surprised me a lot; I was not expecting to get so addicted and intrigued by this story. It made me into a tense and anxious reader, eager to know what's happening next, and if things are following the path I think they are heading to. As the story goes on, we get closer and closer to the characters, we like and sympathize with them, and get to know how even though they are influenced by their pasts, they still themselves in different worldlines.
One of my favorite characters was Professor Leyton Buzzard, who was a classical mad scientist, but with a touch of tranquility quite impressive for the events brought to him. I also liked that he was a scientist at heart, exploring the possibilities without judgment. I also liked Sinead, who was always very strong and smart, regardless of the worldline.
During my reading, it was noticeable that this book was professionally edited, and with this amazing story, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars and 5 out of 5 stars. I don't have any negative aspects of this books.
I recommend this reading to anyone who enjoys science fiction, dilemmas, and intriguing stories that you can't stop reading.
