A State of P.L.A.Y.S by Veronica Hislop is an intriguing and interesting book that is written to be able to help individuals process and understand things better. The book aims to allow readers to process things before doing and being said, to be able to understand and give themselves time to make a decision, and to always think about others when dealing with a problematic situation. This book helps us understand that even if we have a conflict, we need to take out time and try to be respectful and to have good communication skills to help resolve that conflict.

This book is absolutely wonderful and has its own simplicity. I liked how the author explains human nature and how humans have different emotions and levels of anger. The author provided simple yet well-provided statements that can help us think differently in the future. I like that the author provided steps on how we can be able to control ourselves in times of conflict to avoid hurting other people, including ourselves.

There wasn't anything to dislike about this book. This book is short and can be read in one setting. The author explains so much information in this book that can help any individual to make decisions and think carefully. The format and structure of this book are easy and well readable. This book is free of errors and is absolutely well edited. I rate this book five out of five stars due to the reasons given above.

I recommend this book to readers of any age group. I would recommend this book mostly to the younger generation who are trying to cope with studies and family issues and conflicts. This book is for anyone who is going through a stressful life. I feel all readers should read this book to understand what to do in different situations.
