“Island Games: Mystery of the Four Quadrants by Caleb J. Boyer”
This is a work of fiction. It is an exciting and suspenseful story that will take you to a land full of wonder and mystery. It focuses on the adventurous journey of two best friends, Matthew and Ryan that were cast to an unknown Island with a new found friend named Reggie along the way. Together they were forced to play a survival game that they have to finish before they can get out permanently on the mysterious Island.
A series of different challenges arose while they continue to discover a way to get out of the Island. And they need to ascertain that they get all the answers to their questions right away, because they understood that their families are really worried sick about them not knowing were they’ve gone too. And by playing along with this game that the island have set for them, they need to accomplish every single tasks not alone but together, or both of them will never get out of that island alive.
With the encounter they will have from the unknown of the island, and the very best thing that they can do, is to believe with each others capability, of doing what they can to survive the harsh reality that they are instigated to perform in the eyes of that someone or something that cast them there in the first place.
What I like with this story is that it was able to give the reader what they need to have in order to succeed with any kind of obstacles or problems that may come in his/her way. And that as a person you can’t do it on your own without some kind of help from another person and from someone much higher than us.
What I don’t like is that it is centered only to the main characters, that without each other they won’t be able to get out of the mysterious island alone. In real life sometimes we are alone, sometimes there are people who don't have a best friend or more over a friend, not like the characters that they have each other. Those people sometimes they also forget of an existence of someone much higher than us. And because of that they can’t get to believe on themselves to any kind of realization and inspiration to overcome any kind of obstacles. I was Hoping to get a hint for those kinds of people in this story and put themselves in that situation and realize even though they are alone. They should always remember that God, is more than one person to do all things with them in life and that they should not lose hope.
So for this I give it a 3 out of 4 stars.
