Temptation Trials is a fictional book written by B. Truly. It is a very grasping book that will reel you in from the first paragraph. You will be left wondering what B. Truly has planned next. Although I really did enjoy this book along with the moral behind it, I would not advise anyone 18 or younger to read it. There is a mature warning in the beginning of the book, but instead of 18 and above I do believe it should be 21 and above due to explicit content and subject material.

B. Truly does capture our generational interests and likes very well. We live in a very Hollywood type of world and every story on the news looks like modern day Sodom and Gomorrah. Instead of showing that sin will push us back and lead us on a downward spiral, it is promoted and spoken about freely. The more mistakes a star makes, the more airtime they get, which means the masterminds behind it all receive the most money. Are the sins of this world really worth selling your soul for money and fame?

In our world there are seven deadly sins: pride, covetousness, lust, anger, gluttony, envy, and sloth. The sin that seems to be known and promoted the most is lust. The world that we live in today is really based off of lust. With all the awful choices stars make for fame while getting paid for it, it really is made to look like our sins really aren't that bad. All of the reality tv shows are just destined to fail relationships and meant to put a strain on family and friends of that person. Why would a group of people sign up for that? Money, fame, sounded like a good idea at the time? That's exactly what our young couples in this story find out. What started out as a good opportunity ended up putting them in a situation where their souls could be lost.

I believe temptation trials could have a very good effect on anyone that is old enough to read it. You will see how one choice could really put anything and anybody in your life on standby. You will definitely find out that certain things that the world has to offer just simply is not worth the pain it causes. I would personally love it if instead of all the promotion the world has for sin, all of us could pay more attention to the bad effect it has on us, shown in this book. This may be a fictional book but it is very relational to the world we live in today.

Once again, I would only advise an older crowd to read this book. B. Truly captures what our souls are interested in, with a meaningful twist you will find out what is truly more important in life the sins of the world or living a morally good life. You will find out in this book that fighting against sin is very hard, and the world is not too fond of it, but by the end of the story and where our characters end up in their lives that fighting against the world was worth it. I hope you take time to read the full book and reevaluate your life and see what is most important. I hope this helps put relationships on a certain pedestal instead of the backburner.

I would rate this book 2 out of 4 stars. Just based off of the fact that due to the material in this book there will be a limited audience that can actually read it. Without all the explicit material, it would be an amazing read especially for our younger generation. You find out sins of this world, and what certain people do for fame just simply is not worth selling your soul, and giving up the most important relationships you have in your life. With what the world and media shows, it would be a very good lesson to show the effect of living that way, instead of all the promotion it gets.
