Review of Breaking the Mold: Remodeling your Way to Success

[Following is a volunteer review of "Breaking the Mold: Remodeling your Way to Success" by Fabian Videla.]
The construction industry has never seemed more welcoming or more relatable. This sentence may describe Breaking the Mold: Remodeling your Way to Success very well; however, the book does deserve a word and two more. I have given the book a rating of 4 out of 5 for many reasons, among them the fact that the author manages to share invaluable lessons through an approach that motivates one to not only keep reading but to also apply and benefit from what one learns every single day.
Fabian Videla, the author of this book, talks about his journey from childhood to success in this book while discussing how to build a business and speaking about his own. In order to offer no spoilers, I will withhold any further details. Yet, I can say that while doing so, he promotes his company’s products and offers a plethora of advice about the construction industry and how to have a business rather than a job in almost any industry.
What is special about the book is that it offers an experience for the reader that includes elements such as scanning QR codes, which means that the reader is able to take the first step towards change and development almost instantly after reading a particular tip or piece of advice. Similarly, the book contains a list of all the lessons at the end, which the reader can later refer to on a daily basis if needed.
I have to say though, that the book could have been better edited, particularly with regard to punctuation. Moreover, I found that there was a certain level of repetition, although it did not affect the overall quality of the contents of this book.
Overall, the book was both educational and entertaining. It offered a fresh point of view and an opportunity to invite people to different industries and in this case, was also a smart and beneficial method of marketing.
