The success of a story book depends on the support for imagining ability of the reader. The writer already has a picture of what is happening in the story. But the reader has to build up the picture upon the words of the writer. This fact is more applicable for magical stories. All the facts have to be descriptive for the reader to enjoy the book since the story is not related with natural things.

The book “Belas Rift” includes a story about some magical or a strange world. The two main characters are suddenly entered for the story and the reader get wondered at some point of the reading, “What are they…?” Reader can realize the main characters and not humans and they belong to the category of “Manna” at some point of the reading. But it is difficult to understand the differences between “Manna” and human and their life style as the book has not provided a description of “Manna” at the beginning.

The main characters are fear of Anet. But the reader is not aware about the problem they have with Anet. It has to be more descriptive. In page 17 there is a thought of “reminding of old things”. This reminding is happened all over the book. But the reader has no idea about the things happened in the past. The whole incident has to be presented in the book or if there is a previous book related this story, it should be mentioned.

It is difficult for the reader to enjoy the book since the incident is not clear. It is difficult to imagine the things in correct order. Some facts can be imaginable, but the imagination broken down with the pictures in the book. Normally a success book emerge a curiosity in the readers mind to read the book. That leads the reader to read the book without a pause. But the “Belas Rift” doesn’t lead the reader with such a curiosity. Since the incidents are unclear, the reader has to put an effort to read the book. If it is not compulsory to read the book, the reader may stop reading the book after two or three chapters.

But the “Belas rift” includes a good story although it is difficult to imagine by the reader. If the book includes a description about what is “Manna”, what is the specialty of their motherland, who is Anet, why she wants to destroy Manna at the beginning of the story book, it will be more readable. It is better to include the above things in the story to become it a success.

Thank you for your comments on this book. I thought your thoughts about having to use your imagination while reading this book were very interesting. Many of the scenes depend on being able to follow the author's words and description of things that are total fantasy. Thanks.
