Snatched Up to Heaven by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul is an inspirational and enlightening Christian book based on true events. These events are the dream-like experiences of the authors' children, Priyanka and Deepika, where they visited both heaven and hell under the guidance of Jesus and his angels.

While you may be wondering why some children's dreams are worth this extent of documentation, you will be amazed to realise that Priyanka and her sister’s dreams were not just subconscious experiences; they were clear visions. What made me come to this conclusion is that in the retelling of their “dreams,” they saw, heard, and experienced the same things with each other, like their dreams were synchronized. Jemima, their mother and main narrator of the book, did well to capture the revelations as proclaimed by the kids while also adding scriptural confirmations and references to further throw more light and gospel into what God had revealed to the kids.

The book was simple-worded and could be understood by anyone. I love how straightforward and blunt the narrator was and how she didn't use poetic expressions to shy away from complicated matters; everything was simply stated as it is and well explained. The book was also fast-paced and followed the children’s dreams and everything about them. There were some begging Christianity questions like “why would a loving God send people to hell?” and “would people still be happy in heaven knowing they have a family member in hell?” which were answered using what was revealed to the children in their dreams. So the book wasn’t just thought-provoking and entertaining; it was also informative.

Overall, I rate the book five stars out of five.

While I may not agree with everything Jemima might have interpreted, such as apportioning a physical reference to the location of heaven and a few other ideas, the book itself was an exceptional documentation of an exceptional event. The book was impeccably edited and was structured in a pleasing way; there was nothing I didn’t like about the book. This is a book for every Christian who wishes to uncover more about the afterlife and for every person who believes in the testimony of revelations.
