Yesterday by Samyann is a historical fiction book. It is a novel that focuses on time travel. Two major incidents discussed in the book are the American Civil War and The Great Chicago Fire of 1871. This novel takes place in Chicago. Amanda Parker and Mark are the protagonists of this novel. The writer starts the book depicting Amanda confused and afraid of love. The writer delivers a tale that originates the characters from a train crash.
The novel begins with Amanda, who saves the life of a policeman in Chicago. Mark Callahan is his name. Amanda feels that she has recognized him without ever seeing him and Mark also feels the same. They concur that the logical result is that they recognized each other from a past life. Amanda is afraid of losing anyone she cares most. It is for this intellect that she pushes Mark away every time because she is afraid of losing Mark. The script is mostly themed on pain, love, death, and equivalence. Throughout their lives, Amanda received a wall built up with Mark. Still, Mark never gave up on Amanda. Mark’s patience was admirable and there are few people who possess such bravery. Amanda's godmother plays a significant role in the novel. In order to help them connect to their shared past life.
Samyaan performs a beautiful job in presenting his characters a chance to recount their tales. It is noteworthy that the characters also time traveled to their past lives. This is just like movies and I liked this part. The author makes it clear when and where the story is taking place. The beginning of the novel is too much interesting.
Reading about the difficulties people faced during the American Civil War and the struggles of the people in Chicago Fire of 1871. These two events made me sad as well. I also felt sorry. It is also a piece of universal knowledge. Novels that focus on time travel make the writing confusing as well as boring. Samyann did justice in this case and it was pleasant to read all the way. I enjoyed how the author began the story with Amanda analyzing her sorrow and heartache.
I rate Yesterday by Samyann 4 out of 4 stars. Because I loved the script thoroughly. The book is well formatted and has a professional look. While reading, I did not notice any spelling errors. I would strongly recommend it to all the people. Because this is an interesting novel and fascinated by most of the people. Especially for those people who are interested in historical and fictional books.
