Curve Couture by H. M. Irwing is a sweet and steamy romance novel that is really worth a read. The PDF version I downloaded had a hundred and twenty one pages and it was a quick read. I finished it in one sitting. The main theme of "fat is beautiful" (which I'm passionate about) and steamy love scenes makes this the type of romance novel I could read several times a year just to make my day a little brighter.

Claire Williams is the elder sister and manager of show stopping blonde super model, Janice Williams. Janice is adored by all for her beauty and brains. The novel opens with Claire losing her virginity to Janice's boyfriend. The feeling of guilt propels her to stop managing her younger sister. This decision sets the stage for her encounter with with the male version of Janice. In her quest to find her replacement, she meets with sultry former supermodel turned manager, Erin Robertson. He transforms her into a new an arguably better person. Their chemistry would be tested by the industry they work in and her drop dead gorgeous sister. The story is narrated by Claire. It is a story of the insecurities, struggles, successes and romance of a curvy girl.

For me the key to a good romance novel is a strong theme. There could be well developed characters with perfect chemistry between them but if the underlying theme is flat, then the whole book falls flat. In the case of Curve Couture, the underlying theme of "fat is beautiful" is definitely strong. I am particularly passionate about this subject. We now live in a world where beauty is standardized. For you to be beautiful, you need to be slim, have long legs, pointed noise, a particular type of bone structure amongst many other things. This causes depression, useless cosmetic surgeries and worst of all suicides. A book that makes a fat girl rightly feels beautiful while advising her against obesity is a rare beauty. Every young woman should read a book like this every once in a while.

Unfortunately, the book does drop off towards the end. Most of the novel is fast-paced but once the book climaxes, things get a lot slower and honestly, a lot more predictable. Surprisingly, I actually loved it and I'm sure most people who love a happy ending wouldn't mind either. Things tied up nicely and the author even included an "epilogue" of sorts where she sums up what she believes the reader would like to know about what happened to the characters.

I give this book 4 out of 4 stars. The storyline was great and the write-up was error free. I would recommend this book to everyone above eighteen who loves romance novels and doesn't have a problem with explicit sex scenes.

This author seems to be specialist in romantic genre and his works are quite impressive. May be like Heartaches series this also could be enjoyable.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.
