This book has been the book of the day many times now and I see why. I like that there are strong female leads in this book. I like that the characters have an emotional depth to them and that this is able to be shown through the story. I like the cover art and the different story settings including the time periods.

I've seen this book for a while, but am only just now just reading the review. I tend to not read time travel books. I find them frustrating and anxiety producing. And it seems so cowardly to me for the main character to abandon people who are depending on her to save just herself.

I love that the character development is strong. I would never re-read a book with weak characters. The idea of escaping to the past is definitely intriguing. I wonder what century I would pick if I could...

A very nicely written review. I have finished reading the sample and cannot wait to get the complete book and finish reading it. The suspense in the sample has made me very curious to know what was the mission, why did Jennifer go to a different century and let her team think she is dead? What will be her life now?How will she manage? Was their mission a success.

Time travel science fiction ... not my cup of tea. The story concept sounds very good, though. I will read a couple of pages ... and who knows. Thanks for an informative review.

In reference to the official review, Mark Kingston Levin likes to give the readers the following food for thought: (1) One cannot escape from one's problems (2) Whether in the 30th or 21st centuries, trust and loyalty will always be tested and questioned.

With the above points in mind, 30th Century: Escape sounds like an interesting book that will provide the reader with an opportunity to have fun in analyzing the different characters' actions based on their motives and situations.

The review piques my interest in this book. Blending science fiction and thriller themes makes me really want to read it.

30th Century: Escape is a well written tale with the science firmly grounded in reality. Dr. Levin does a very good job with his freshmen debut in fiction. Though the book is tagged Science Fiction, it should also be tagged Romance/Adult cause of the sex scenarios. I do not recommend for children and teens.

Dr. Levin tried breaking the terms down to layman's understanding, but be ready to get lost in the plot...

Thank you for this great review!

Having watched a great deal of 'Doctor Who' and 'Star Trek' during my adolescence, the themes of time travel and what discovery may lie in the future has always been fascinating to me.

The characters appear to be developed through the author's engaging style so this would certainly appeal to me, as the pacing of a thriller is quite important to keep the reader's attention at all times, as well as the theme of secrecy.

I'll definitely add this to my reading list.

Great review! I'm glad a lot of detail was put into the main character. Sounds like a pretty good science fiction novel.

Thanks for the well-written review, sounds like an interesting novel. Although the other reviews I've read on this book didn't sound very promising.
