Nice review. I like the mysterious plot. May be I will read this book.
What is the most special thing I did today- I was MYSELF. Happy and in love and unapologetically myself.

Mystery. Betrayal. Forbidden love. I can tell how much you enjoyed this novel based on how well you have written your review. Your have great excitement in sharing this hidden gem. I am definitely adding it to my bookshelf.
Any book that helps a child to form a habit of reading, to make reading one of his deep and continuing needs, is good for him.

I have read your review, to say the least i feel my inside rising in anticipation of what happened. Like Marrock's transformation. Is it that the author didnt bring out this character forceful or you elected not to dwell on him? Otherwise I do agree with you on the mystery and betrayal that sorrounds the acquisition and retention of power. The ability of character to double speak, stub the other in the back and borrow extensively from the folklore to justify their claim to power. This book is a definite read for contemporary politicians and those who are keen in seeing through their schemes. This is a book that should generate interest in academic circles. I would love to read it.

This sounds like a complex story! I appreciate that you mentioned you had to take time to collect your thoughts and re-read every so often because it seems to be very hectic with several characters and story layers in play at once. You did a wonderful job of giving a detailed review!
