I totally agree with all the points you've raised. I also gave this 3 out of 4 stars because of the authors' creativity and actually incorporating Adele's songs. Great review!

It is worth pointing out that 2.5 would be an ideal assessment because it is not an outstanding piece of work and the story isn’t truly original. It is highly likely that you might have been there before. But despite its flaws, this book will surprise you; with a clever use of lyrics and an abrupt change in its descriptiveness.
I thought the story was highly relatable and that it could appeal to anyone. I did not notice the change in descriptiveness. I rated this book 4 out of 4 mostly because I was captivated by the artistry in the book. I guess I still have a lot to learn when it comes to critiquing. Thanks for your very honest review.

The thing with books is that everyone looks at them with a different lens. You found it better than I did. And everyone is entitled to their own opinion. So it is not really a problem. Both of our views are justified. Thank you for sharing your insights. I will look forward to your comments in my other reviews. :D

I was having mixed feelings about reading this book. I'm going to pass, but I enjoyed your review! I like the idea of not knowing what to expect, but the slow start and the Adele lyrics (I only know a couple of songs) make it less ideal for me. Thank you.

Interesting review. While I'm a big fan of both music and Adele, the book's "official" summation didn't make me interested enough to read it. And though I believe that it does get better, I just don't know if I would have the patience to get through the mundane beginning you noted.

Yes, it can be a bit tiring when the authors don't make an impact with the initial chapters. And it's fine if you don't want to read this one. It is not a 'must read'. Thank you for your insights.

I have heard about this book. They were trying to get it to Adele, I think. Though from what I heard this seems really different. I thought this would have Adele in the centre, but this is really different. I guess I will have to read it to find out more.

I love Adele. I am big fan. These seem bigger fans though. They took fanfiction to another level. I like how they have taken a unique perspective in the telling of this story. Great review ReviewerDiksha. I guess I will read this book after all.
