Want to go on an adventure? Want to experience life out in the element of the open ocean? How about being up close and personal with nature? Then this is the book for you. Join the narrator and her family on a wild ride of surprise, wonder and excitement.

I read this book on a recent family cruise while relaxing in the sun and it kept me entertained. Most of the time I felt as if I was riding along on the adventure, so much so, that it had me on the edge of my seat. And then there were parts that I really wanted to skip over because I felt it was a bit boring. I am happy to say that I did not skip those parts because I realized that, as I read those small boring parts, it helped to keep the adventure in check and prepare me for the next upcoming adventure. There are some funny parts that had me laughing out loud. These parts made me laugh because I was picturing my own family in the author’s family situation.

The author wrote the book as if she was journaling each day's events before going to bed. It felt as if she was living it at that exact moment it was written. Her description of nature and wildlife is so intense that it was a vivid picture in my mind.

The book was well written with very minimal typos. A reader would immediately assume a simple key punch error.

I would give this book a 4 out of 5 review. Although it was entertaining and expressive, it jumps back to the past at the beginning of some chapters and then will continue into the present. I feel that this can be a bit confusing to the reader.

Any nature lover will enjoy this journey.
