Thanks Julius. When you get used to reading his books, you will enjoy them. I know how confusing they can be.

I was curious to see your view on this book given that you had reviewed a previous book of his and didn't give it a high score. This seems to be better in terms of story line and i really like the analogy of the bus story.
Thank you for dropping by my review.

Mois Bennaroch, his books feature alot to newbies on this site. Great review, but I vow to keep away from poetry, not my thing.

They were looked down upon and whenever the author tried to prove that he was from Morocco even by showing his identity card, people would not believe it and wondered why he was different and nice. The author says that in order to stop being different, he had to stop being born in Morocco, something that no one knows how to do yet, and if anyone knows, they have not shared it.
I will have to read this book. It sounds humorous just looking at this review. Thanks for the review.

Sounds like an intelectual story about identity and oppression, which is are significant themes nowadays. Thanks for the review!

Since I first read a Mois Benarroch book, I'm completely hooked to his works. I like that the theme of emigration and discrimination is well tackled in this one.

I think Mois Benarroch'writing style very fascinating. The author's opus often revolves around his ancestral home. The Expelled is delvered with his usual dose of humour and uncommon imaginative storytelling. I guess this is a book to follow to the end.

This is exactly the quote that stood out to me after reading the sample today. I think it's such an inventive and brave way to describe one's peers.

Thanks for your review. It really shredded light into he question that has been hanging in the air. I love the authors way of thinking, because we don't get many nonfictional authors who want to do something unique that hasn't been done by others. The expelled is a great book and I would say it was easily understandable for me because, though the author wrote it in illusions, the message is clear to anyone that desires to truly understand them and what the author wrote is a reflection of what had truly happened; they had been expelled! Awesome review!
