[Following is a volunteer review of "Niching Up" by Chris Dreyer.]
In 'Nitching Up, the book written by Chris Dreyer, he guides us on how to identify our specialty, draw in additional business, get rid of waste, upcharge for services, and provide referrals. Chris Dreyer starts the book by describing his full-time job as a correctional supervisor and basketball coach. He began his side business in affiliate marketing in 2006. His first website, Lose Your Double Chin, was designed by him. It was a popular website for double chins, and it made money. That's when he decided to make it sort of like a job. In the end, he created more than 80 websites and earned some money from them. In addition to his digital marketing company, he dreamed of becoming a lawyer. So he started his own SEO company.
He had found his calling and was about to follow his goal. Additionally, he discussed the fear of not knowing and how saying yes to one thing can cause us to miss out on something better. He also talks about some interesting attacks in the film Star Wars. I don't want to give a spoiler about that part, and I would like the reader to read it themselves. It had quite a good impact on me.
The desire to be instantly recognized didn't let him stop. In this book, he illustrates how we become unique among the crowd when we specialize and take on uncharted territory. Another powerful chapter covered premium pricing and showed readers how to navigate various price points. One of these explanations is that the more experience and knowledge there is, the more the consumer will pay. He explained that we should gather information about the sector and compare it to ourselves. He also summarized how we should know the comparison between the value and the price of what we provide to the consumer. In order to determine what the market will accept of our higher charges, we have to test it.
I heartily endorse this fantastic book to everyone who is prepared to identify their niche and expand their business. I enjoy how he compares many television series and films throughout the book, such as Justified and Star Wars. I adore the way he explained to readers how to raise their premium price and the steps they may take to determine the right amount to charge given our level of competence. The way he explained referrals and how we may build relationships that promote referrals was interesting to me.
