Review of Phobia Relief

[Following is a volunteer review of "Phobia Relief" by Kalliope Barlis.]
"Phobia Relief: From Fear to Freedom" is an excellent work by "Kalliope Barlis" for those struggling with some phobia, like me. The author, "Kalliope Barlis", is extremely knowledgeable and has an empathetic approach towards people suffering from some sort of phobia throughout the book.
The content is not overly complex and can be easily followed by anyone. Many other books on the same topic deal with phobias in a very different way, making it seem like resolving trauma is not at all possible. But that is not the case. Of course, healing traumas can be a task, but that doesn't mean it's not possible, is it? As a person suffering from a phobia, what struck me the most in this book is the way the author differentiates between fears and phobias and how she gets into the base issue of a certain phobia. Explaining why you have a certain phobia to others can sometimes be a huge task because the listener may not be able to follow you. However, the author writes from her heart, and I must say that I almost felt like she was addressing me. The content was straight to the point, and it felt like the author could see through me. I suffer from herpetophobia, and I've been dealing with this since I was a kid. Unfortunately, nothing has worked for me so far. Reading this gem of a book is helping me in the process of healing, and I thank the author for this initiative. I'm sure a lot of them would also find this book helpful.
The book is divided into three main sections. In the first part, Barlis focuses on the differences between fears and phobias. In the second part, she provides solutions to transform our fears into freedom. In the following section, Barlis talks about the impact of NLP on someone.
I absolutely love this book, and it is a must-read if you're suffering from any phobia. It is a lifesaver and definitely worth your time. The book was professionally edited with no errors. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.
