[Following is a volunteer review of "Play Golf Better Faster: From Weekend Golfer to Pro Golfer in Two Years" by Kalliope Barlis.]
The book Play Golf Better Faster: From Weekend Golfer to Pro Golfer in Two Years by Kalliope Barlis is a great book for golf enthusiasts who are looking to master the game of golf. This is the second book by the same author that focuses on utilizing Neuro Linguistic Programming to improve your golf game. The author wrote this book based on her extensive research as well as her personal journey as a golfer. The book is thoroughly structured into three separate sections that delve into detail about different aspects of golfing. The author also gives several step by step exercises that she has found to be effective.
I really liked this book. I liked how passionate the author’s writing is in the book. She is passionate about discussing how altering one’s beliefs about themselves and their abilities can actually be life-altering and can transform your life. Believing in your potential and having a desire to improve your current skills can help lead you to achieving all of your goals on the golf course. I liked that the book also provided scientific explanations to support the principles that the author discussed within the book. This helps to further back up the author’s claims within the book.
There was honestly nothing that I did not like about the book. I especially enjoyed that the book was easy to understand and was written in terms that are simple to comprehend. I did not find any grammatical errors or typos within the book. This is a testament to the exceptional editing that was completed to this before prior to it being published.
I would rate this book five out of five stars for the reasons that I stated above. I thought this book contained valuable content for individuals who are interested in improving their golf game or their mental ability when participating in other sports.
I would recommend this book to any people interested in improving their ability to play golf. This book offers a fresh perspective on golf that I think would benefit avid golfers.
