I enjoyed how the author built up the setting if the book. A dystopian future where the government has ruined the environment. The author uses a unique writing style where it is written in a narrative point of view which I found refreshing. The author draws you into the scene and is good at keeping the readers attention.

As a result I found that the book was easily readable and didn't have any particular slow points on it. In my opinion I feel like the author had created to many characters and I found it hard to keep track of all the names and diffirent backstories of the different characters.

There is a few suspenseful scenes in the book that had a horror/sci-fi feel to them and I feel like the author had a very good way of keeping that suspense by using alot of detail on their writing.

The world-building in this book is nothing short of extraordinary. The author has created a rich and immersive universe filled with technological wonders and nightmarish horrors. Every detail is meticulously crafted, painting a vivid picture that allows readers to lose themselves in the story.
The author's vivid imagination and mastery of storytelling shine through, creating a world that feels both eerily familiar and distinctly otherworldly. The characters are expertly crafted, each with their own unique personalities and motivations, making them relatable and compelling. As the plot unfolds, it seamlessly weaves together elements of science fiction and horror, creating a tapestry of intrigue that keeps readers guessing until the very end.

The book is a riveting journey into the realms of sci-fi and horror that captivates from the very first page. With a perfect blend of suspense, adrenaline-pumping action, and a touch of the supernatural, this book keeps readers on the edge of their seats, eagerly turning pages to uncover the next twist in its gripping narrative

In conclusion, "Pulse Book 1" is a great addition in the sci-fi/horror genre. With its compelling characters, well crafted plot, and immersive world-building, it is a captivating read that will leave you eagerly anticipating the next installment.
