[Following is a volunteer review of "Purpose" by Gina Bianchini.]
Purpose by Gina Bianchini is a well-written and thought provoking book. The overall experience has been rewarding and provides valuable insights on many aspects.
I'm not a fan of self help books as they can be daunting but "Purpose" is different. This isn't another self help book; Gina has created this guide from her own life experiences, making it practical and relatable.
Having a purpose provides a sense of meaning and guides our life choices. The book traces Gina's journey - from her childhood to discovering her own purpose and helping other fulfill their own purposes.
The book emphasizes the power of a strong, core community to help discover one's purpose in life; focuses on creating cultures, hence building meaningful connections with people. There are inspiring real life stories from individuals who have followed this guide and created their own successful communities.
In today's digital age, the sheer volume of content creation and consumption can be overwhelming. But technology has the potential to play a positive role in your life and change your relationship with the world around you. Gina introduces us to digital communities, rather a personalized digital community of people with similar purpose and how they can make an impact in each others' lives, thus utilizing time and energy better.
The author lays out a step-by-step and clear roadmap, with exercises and templates. Most exciting part was the Purpose 30 ritual. It is unique and helps you answer most of the questions, ultimately guiding you to your purpose. I cannot wait to try this my own and see what it leads to!
I would like to specially mention the flawless editing of this book. The grammar is simple and there are no apparent errors or typos. Would definitely recommend this book!!
