Review of Niching Up

[Following is a volunteer review of "Niching Up" by Chris Dreyer.]
"Niching Up: The Narrower the Market, the Bigger the Prize" shows the pros and cons of choosing a business within a niche market.
The author presents his perspective in a very captivating and refreshing way thanks to the examples and advice he gives from his own experience. The author relies laboriously on examples to explain his ideas such as famous movies, television shows, and sports. The author even uses his own company as a main example of success for niching up. The reader doesn't need to know much about this field to understand what the author is trying to say. This book is a very easy read thanks to the author writing style due to the fact that he speaks like if he was talking with a friend.
Furthermore, I highly recommend it to everybody without business background who is thinking about starting a new business but doesn't have very clear the area to choose because it will help you to double think towards which direction you want to focus it.
Also, another positive think to highlight from this book is the amount of references the writer does to another business books which can be really interesting to those looking for widen their knowledge.
However, if you have some experience in business or marketing, I don't think the author is going to astonish you. From my point of view and because of my business background, I think almost everything he says you might have thought about that or if you were in the position of thinking about niching up you would figure the pros and cons up quite easily.
Despite this, it is a helpful tool for anyone considering to dive into a new business. As we know it is very important to acknowledge that the author provides you a huge number of skills to succeed in your professional future.
