[Following is a volunteer review of "Purpose" by Gina Bianchini.]
"Purpose: A Step-by-Step Guide to Finding Your Purpose and Making it Matter. Is an insightful and practical book that offers valuable guidance to those seeking to discover meaning and connections through purpose and communities. As someone who has experienced ups and downs the emphasis on self reflection and power of communities in this book really resonated with me. The stories shared of individuals on their journey for purpose were inspiring and relatable, reminding me of the power of collaboration and the potential for personal growth within a community setting. The practical advice on how to build and engage communities that align with my purpose was refreshing in a sense it is not a get rich quick plan with personal goals only, but connects on spiritual basis through human connection and community which has dwindled with the use of meaningless online platforms and following the pandemic. One or two points of note is that the book focuses on success and achievement which may overshadow other dimensions of purpose such as personal fulfillment and personal growth. The second is it is slightly idealistic in that it does not address obstacle for individuals with diverse backgrounds, finally and really not a criticism but an observation is that this type of idea already exists in the self-help genre . That said I believe this offers great methods for people looking for their purpose .
