Robert Leet's novel Timewise is a blend of fact and fantasy. When Ron Larsen first encountered Regina Russo as a child, his life received its most unforgettable dash of significance. Ron tells the story of how Regina provided him the chance to complete his math education at the college where Regina had taught him physical science.

In exchange, Ron and Regina occasionally get together to discuss various academic ideas; most of these discussions center on Regina's interests in and consideration of physical science. In fact, Ron eventually returns to Regina's world of material science, despite moving away, getting married, and making a name for himself in the stock exchange sector.

I should warn potential readers that this book is highly serious in terms of the discussion of physical science. Despite the fact that I have a solid background in many fields, including physical science, I found myself putting the book down a few times because there was just too much information to digest at once. Then, at that moment, returning was a little challenging. If I hadn't tried to understand it too carefully, it would have been much more enjoyable.

Although this book is science fiction, it actually reads more like a diary. I have no problem believing that the author is recalling events from his own life in this book. Although I couldn't say whether it was true or not, it wouldn't surprise me to learn that this is based on a true story.

This is the aspect of the book that I liked the most. Even if there are elements of "fiction" in it, everything seems plausible enough to keep you wondering whether this might actually happen. I found no grammatical errors, indicating that it was well-edited. I found nothing I disliked while reading. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to all lovers of sci-fi.

Ron and Regina seem like they had an interesting relationship. It was great and interesting to read. Physical science is hard and beautiful too.
