[Following is a volunteer review of "Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids" by Jemima Paul, Arvind Paul.]
This book shows fun pictures of heaven and hell for little kids. The angels smile and sing happy songs. Heaven looks so colourful and fun! Hell has demons that look mean and scary. The girls Emma and Bella see pretty angels and baby animals in heaven. Heaven looks so nice! But hell looks scary with fire and monsters.
The book talks about God and Jesus in a way little kids can understand. There are bright colours and happy songs in heaven. The angels smile and are kind. Jesus loves all the children. But hell has darkness and sadness. Some people don't choose Jesus and go to hell.
The book tries to explain big ideas about God and the Bible. Adults will like reading this to toddlers. The girls in the book ask good questions. Why do bad people go to hell? How can I follow Jesus? The book gives answers little kids can grasp.
Some parts might be too scary for very young kids. Hell and the devils look pretty mean! Parents should check the book first before reading it. They may need to explain some hard concepts. Moms and dads should look at the book before reading it. Some parts may be too spooky for very little kids. Parents can explain the big ideas in a way small kids get.
The ending feels a bit rushed. More pages could show heaven's beauty. But the overall book is fun for toddlers. It uses imagination to teach about God's love. Kids will relate to Emma and Bella on their adventures.
The book uses toys and pets to interest little ones. Bright illustrations make it engaging. Simple words introduce big ideas about the Bible. Parents will enjoy teaching young children through this book. It opens fun discussions about God, heaven and how to follow Jesus. With guidance, the book brings Biblical concepts to a toddler's level.
