I found this children's book to highlight from a child's perspective what heaven and hell represent and demonstrate what each experience would be like and how to arrive in either place. Heaven being a place of wonder and light with no suffering whereas hell is dark and fearsome, full of pain and woe.

The illustrations are lovely and soft while reflecting the story very well with just one notable error. On page 23/24 the character depicted placing a crown on another characters head is wearing the garb described on page 13/14 as Jesus, however in the later pages they are describing God to be the one who awards his followers. Is this because they don't want to show God's face or is this an error?

On page 23, Earth is not capitalised. I don't know if this is intentional or incorrect. I didn't see any other spelling or grammatical errors at all.

The majority of the book is speech which I found to be slightly difficult to read and I believe children would find this difficult to read in bulk as well. More description about Emma and Bella's time in Heaven, what they saw, things they experienced in more depth or ideas they had would help to reduce this.

I really liked the added references referring to the Bible sections. Particularly on page 9 but also listed in the following pages. It allows the reader to also reference their own Bible while reading this book.

It was quite heavy handed in the final 'Parents' page 'and that Salvation is found in noone but Him' I don't think this page is necessary or adds value to the book. In fact, after such a lovely ending in which the family are depicted close together and coming to an agreement on how Jesus wants them to live, this final page comes across almost threatening.
