Review of Donny and Mary Grace's California Adventures

This book, Donny and Mary Grace's California Adventures by Catherine A. Pepe, is an interesting book that talks about love and challenges showcased by two siblings, Donny Miller and Mary Grace Miller. Many young children should model their behavior on the kind of affection that both of these siblings demonstrated in this book.
Donny Miller is the younger brother of Mary Grace Miller. Donny Miller is five years old, and he has Down syndrome. Donny and Mary Grace lived with their parents in Kansas. Donny went missing in a zoo but was later found. A bitter announcement was later made by these sibling parents that they would be going to a missionary post in Africa for two years. And this announcement means that Donny and Mary Grace have to go live with their grandparents. The news that the young siblings would be moving to a new environment was extremely upsetting to them. Donny and Mary Grace faced a lot of challenges and bullying in their new school. Grab a copy of this interesting book to find out what happens to these siblings later.
I must commend the suspense in this book, despite it being a children’s book. I like the way the author provided solutions to most of the challenges that the siblings faced. These solutions provided by the author will go a long way towards helping kids scale through similar challenges. Also, the love and care showcased by these two siblings are commendable. I rate this book five out of five stars because it was not only educational but also provided the necessary tools for dealing with bullies. I found no errors after I finished reading this book.
I found nothing to dislike in the book. It was written in simple language, making it easier for readers to understand and comprehend. It was exceptionally well written and edited.
I recommend this book to all parents and teachers. Also, I recommend this book to people who love reading suspense and children’s books.
