[Following is a volunteer review of "Death by Chaos" by Renaii West.]
This book captivated me with its fascinating mix of friendship, mythology, and mystery. I loved how it starts off by introducing 4 women who, despite their differences, forge a deep bond that sustains them through the years. I really enjoy how as the reader you get to see what they experience in their lives and the hurdles they had to go through to be the people they were destined to become.
The mythology of it was incorporated amazingly and each of the 4 girls embodied the goddesses perfectly; personality and all. The anticipation of impending action and drama keeps you on the edge of your seat, eagerly awaiting the next turn of events. When I tell you that this book has a way of capturing your attention, it will definitely capture it. I Recommend this book to people who are huge fans of mythology, mystery, and amazing friendships.
I wholeheartedly recommend this book. My rating of this book on a scale of one to five is undeniably 4/5: I loved how it ended. This author left me wanting more. It gives closure to the current story while simultaneously leaving an opening to possibly continue on a new adventure if the author decides to make a second book. This book can certainly be read as a stand-alone and you will absolutely enjoy it.
The only negative thing and the reason I gave it a 4/5 rating is the infidelity, mention of rape, and the occasional overly detailed context which slowed the pace for me and can make me bored, I know context is crucial to the story but that is what brings my score down to a four. But overall I would, beyond any doubt recommend this book to my friends. I give the editing a perfect 5/5, with no misspellings, amazing grammar, and perfect phrasing. you will definitely this book.
