[Following is a volunteer review of "The Easter Make Believers" by Finn Bell.]
The Easter Make Believers is a fantastically written and edited book by Finn Bell. Tobe and Nick are called to a Rapid Response call in Lawrence. The Chen family are being held hostage in their home by masked men with guns. As they arrive at the home they are greeted with a multitude of gunshots and explosions. When entering what remains of the Chen family home, they find that James Chen, the father of the Chen family is missing. What follows this turn of events is a life and death rescue mission to find James Chen before it is too late. If you love books full of action and shocking twists at every turn, then this is the book for you.
Finn Bell has done a fantastic job of capturing the readers attention and keeping them glued to the book. The book has been written and edited impeccably and it is a book that I would highly recommend. Finn Bell has researched the topic of this book very well and has highlighted this very well throughout the entirety of the book.
For myself personally, the only thing that I would change about the book to make it better is some of the chapters. Some of the chapters were noticeably short and I believe that these chapters could have been incorporated into another chapter in the book. These chapters took away from the excitement of the book and took away from how well the book flowed throughout, but that is just my opinion.
Overall, I would rate this book 5 out of 5. This book deserves nothing less than this due to the immaculate editing of the book. From the very start of the book to the very end I was hooked and could not put this book down. Bell has done a brilliant job in keeping readers on the edge of their seats.
