[Following is a volunteer review of "Niching Up" by Chris Dreyer.]
4 out of 5. I recently finished the book Niching Up by Chris Dreyer. This book enxompasses the important of SEO and niching up (or specializing) in the business world. I have just recently started a new Etsy business selling digital printables and was not sure how important SEO was or how I could take advatage of niching to grow my business. This book is the basic foundation any business owner needs! Chris is the founder of an SEO agency who assist with personal injury law firms so many of the examples are related to law. However, Chris's quick wit and funny memories, make this book really enjoyable. Some other examples relate to poker, others to Dungeons and Dragons. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to grow their business or understand the basics of niching. I would not recommend this book to anyone not interested in promoting business or under the age of 20. Some (very few) profanity is used and the terms and topics can get a bit confusing if you don't have an understanding of SEO or niching. Chris does a great job at making everything relatable but if you don't have a passion or desire to spring into action after reading this book, I would not say it's for you. Definitely the kind of book an adult should have on their bookshelf. A book that you should have "just in case." It was enjoyable for me to read, relevant to what I am focusing on in my business, and a quick read (only 93 pages!) that hosts a wealth of information and knowledge.
