Review of Purpose

[Following is a volunteer review of "Purpose" by Gina Bianchini.]
A powerful, empowering manual to build community, confidence, self belief and purpose. 4 out of 5 simply because I have yet to give it the full 30 days to see if it works!
I should state from the outset that I am a big supporter of positive thinking, self help and manifestation. However, I also have a healthy curiosity and wariness of anything purporting to be a “fix all” or next big thing. However from the start this book spoke to my soul. The mix of personal experience, positivity and real life stories really resonated with me.
Gina Bianchini is a graduate of Silicon Valley, one of the original dot.com generation who witness first hand the north of social networking and its transformation to the all pervasive social media we know today. Her humanity and knowledge shine from the pages of this book and, as a 40 something mum of two who also witnessed it all, albeit as a consumer rather than a creator, I found a camaraderie and shared experience with the author that made me feel like I was reading the words of a friend.
I found the plan and instructions easy to understand, clear and concise. If nothing else, the plan encourages you to carve out 30 minutes from your day to reflect on yourself and the life you want to create for yourself. And really isn’t that what we all need?
Ultimately I found this book easy to read, enjoyable and, above all, full of hope. I can’t wait to see how this experience affects me and my future and how I can develop and be a part of a real community and live life to the fullest. Thank you Gina, I look forward to your next book and hope that one day my story will tell the life I’ve planned today.
