Tina and Peter are remarkable individuals who have embraced a unique approach to a life filled with thrilling adventures. Fortunately, their paths crossed, allowing them to establish an adventurous family together. With their two children inheriting their passion for adventure, they embarked on a remarkable journey, choosing to live on a boat as their unconventional home. While they have experienced various exciting escapades, this book primarily focuses on their exploration along the African coasts. In Bluewater Walkabout, Tina Dreffin takes readers on a captivating voyage as she, along with her family, immerses themselves in an extraordinary and unconventional lifestyle. Beginning with her life before meeting her husband, Peter, Tina recounts the story of their fortuitous encounter before delving into the amazing details of a particularly captivating journey.

I found great enjoyment in reading this book. I hold a profound admiration for individuals who embrace their distinct styles of living. Their courage and willingness to stand out in a world that often promotes conformity are truly commendable. Breaking away from conventional patterns is no easy feat, but the rewards of forging a unique path in life are immeasurable. Within the pages of this book, I appreciated the valuable lessons about the sacrifices that accompany such a journey. Tina skillfully provides details, allowing readers to grasp the challenges they encountered and the dangers they faced. I was particularly inspired by their resilience in the face of adversity, as they refused to be deterred by unfavorable circumstances and instead pressed forward. Moreover, the presence of a strong family bond throughout their adventures was heartwarming and added an extra layer to their story.

There is nothing I dislike about this book; in fact, it exceeded my expectations. It delivered exactly what I had anticipated and even more. The combination of entertainment and profound insights within its pages brought me immense delight. I was captivated by the thrilling adventures depicted, often finding myself holding my breath in suspense. The author skillfully weaved a smooth and detailed narrative, allowing me to fully envision the entirety of their experiences. At times, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease, particularly when considering the potential dangers involved, especially with their two young boys. However, as the saying goes, "no risk, no fun," and it added a layer of excitement to their journey.

The book is exceptionally edited. I rate this book five out of five stars because of the numerous lessons in it. It encompasses all the essential elements one seeks in a travel book and even manages to offer a little extra.

I recommend this book to individuals who have a deep appreciation for adventure and enjoy immersing themselves in the intricate details of captivating journeys.

Risks, dangers and unease are usually expected when embarking on an expedition. I love that Tina found a way to heal from her past. She was also lucky to have a family with a good bond and matching energy with hers. I have added to my bookshelf already. Nice review.

Tina Dreffin's bravery is something all women should emulate. If all the women in this world are half as brave as she is, I think the world would be a better place to live in.

Not everyone can come out string after loosing a child and fighting a deadly disease. Tina's family was her major strength in overcoming all her challenges. I also look forward to going on a walkabout too someday. Nice review.

What I like most in this book is the author's flow in pouring her emotion. From her narration, I could her pains and excitement to free herself from the wrong mentality toward herself.
