Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress by Gustavo Kinrys, MD, is a compilation of the essential things that a person should know to cope and even help other individuals who are facing fears and worries in their lives. It is a guidebook that includes the symptoms of anxiety and stress, medications and foods that they need to take, and things that they can do to elevate their feelings.
What I liked about the book is that it identified the difference between anxiety and stress, because many people think that they are the same. Also, I liked that there is a chapter where they list the symptoms that a person will experience if they are having a hard time. These chapters could be beneficial for the readers to be able to identify what they are going through and the things that they need to do to cope with this situation.
What I don’t like about the book is that it doesn’t have any compilation or examples of individuals struggles and how they were able to cope with or even face what they are going through. Having that kind of story can be impactful to the readers and can also help comfort people who are facing difficult hardships in their existence.
I will rate this book 4 out of 5 stars because it is exceptionally edited and I didn’t even notice a mistake. I like the author’s knowledge about the topic, and the way he presents it is very understandable. I just hope people’s experiences were included in this book. Other than that, I really enjoy having a lot of wisdom when handling anxiety and stress.
I will recommend this book to adults and young adults, especially to those who experience stress and anxiety in their lives. This knowledgeable writing could help them identify what they are going through and could also make them face it stronger.
