[Following is a volunteer review of "Intricate Mandalas with Inspirational Quotes:" by Big Initial Studios.]
This coloring book was really fun and my spouse and I actually both enjoyed it. My spouse, who has both ADHD and anxiety took to the coloring book a lot more than I did. I think the mandala graphics helped calm their days a bit more. The negative I would say is the resolution of the graphics after it was printed and the limited use of what I could color with. For the pages I attempted to use colored pencils, gel pens (both glitter and plain), and markers (similar to permanent markers). The type of paper was not forgiving for colored pencils and thicker/darker markers bled through easily. The markers bled through the page and depending on the color even bled to the next page. Even the glitter gel pens at time would bleed through. Overall, I think this coloring book was nice and easy to use when you want to doodle or just slow your day with some down time. Wasn’t satisfied with the resolution of graphics or limited pens I could used. 3 out of 5.
