We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz takes us on an exciting journey to the fantasy kingdom of Voulhire. The story follows Galen Bray, a young man who escapes the war-torn Lands of the Princes and arrives in Magnum Caelum, a city in Voulhire. With the help of Rowan, his uncle's executor, Galen inherits his late uncle's possessions and embarks on a new chapter in his life.

Voulhire is a powerful kingdom with its fair share of political struggles and hidden secrets. King Wilhelm, fearful of being overthrown, is willing to betray friendships and sacrifice lives to maintain his grip on power. The kingdom's unity is called into question as tensions rise between the king and Midius Maido, the chancellor of the Mianoran Council. Are you eager to delve deeper into the story? Acquire a copy of this book and discover additional insights directly from the author.

The author skillfully weaves together various plot threads, introducing us to intriguing characters and exploring the complexities of Voulhire's society. The book delves into themes of power, politics, and the consequences of one's actions. I particularly enjoyed the character of Rowan, Galen's guide and friend. Rowan's sense of humor, free-spirited nature, and kind heart make him a captivating presence throughout the story. His role as Galen's mentor goes beyond his duty as the executor of the estate, adding depth to their relationship.

The author's descriptive writing paints a vivid picture of Voulhire, immersing readers in the fantastical world. The inclusion of a map and a glossary of terms enhances the reading experience, allowing readers to navigate the kingdom and understand its unique terminology.

This novel captivates readers with its compelling storyline and skillful writing, creating an enchanting fantasy world. The plot is well-developed, and the pacing keeps readers hooked from beginning to end. The book is also meticulously edited, with no errors spotted in it, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable reading experience. For its captivating storytelling, well-developed characters, and immersive world-building, I enthusiastically give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars as being exceptionally well edited. This captivating book is a must for those who enjoy fantasy, adventure, and the twists and turns of political schemes. It will keep you hooked and eagerly awaiting the next chapter in the series.

Great review. I e joyed especially your analysis of Rowan. I've been secretly and low-key wanting to just talk about him all the time. But interesting take on King Wilhelm. I always saw him as just someone who wants to do the right thing and has realised that doing the right thing doesn't mean it's the right thing for everyone and thus has decided to do the one that benefits most people. But that's just my view.
