I am giving this book 3/5 stars. While I did not notice any grammatical errors and believe this was edited wonderfully, I feel the book itself is overly wordy. It is a lengthy read for a children's book given it is for all ages. It certainly is not a quick bedtime story for young children. Perhaps a simplified version would be more appropriate for the younger readers. On that note, the short, but intense and scary depiction of ‘Hell’ may frighten some young readers. The title also comes across as forceful - 'snatched up' to heaven feels to me as though children are being stolen against their will. Perhaps another descriptive word could replace 'snatched'.

This book is clearly aimed at a very religious audience, and for that audience I believe it is an appropriate book for children under the supervision of their parents. For parents who are not devout Catholic/Christian followers, the book may come across as quite judgemental. This is because the book is very pointed in speaking about how this faith is the way to salvation. On page 32 the authors have specifically told the readers to raise their children in alignment with their faith to avoid their children going to hell. I don’t believe this was a necessary addition to the book, as it may offend some readers. The message was clear throughout the text without a pointed direction at parents. For this reason, the book has been given 3 stars as it is not for all audiences and runs the risk of offending some readers.

The book is beautifully illustrated and the pictures align with the text in a lovely manner. I also really enjoyed that at the bottom of each page there are references to the Bible texts where the authors have referenced information. This allows readers to find scripture passages easily that relate to the content of the book should they wish to do so. Scripture was beautifully woven through the book and overall it was an enjoyable story.
