[Following is a volunteer review of "Purpose" by Gina Bianchini.]
The book “Purpose” by Gina Bianchini is a must-read if you find yourself missing something in your life, but you are not sure what it is. The author provides a guide to gaining understanding of who you are, what your purpose is, and how to find others who share that purpose with you from her own experience going through this process. I thought that the recommendations and process proposed in the book were easy to follow and could work for anyone looking to better understand what their purpose is in life.
The author’s backstory helps set the stage for the advice she gives. At times, the advice in the book may feel overwhelming, especially if you are indeed trying to find your purpose. It’s thought provoking, and you may find your mind reeling a little. I often found myself deep in thought about what the book was telling me. Later on in the book, I appreciated how the author gave many examples of how this recommended process has been used by others to help them find purpose. It made it easy to envision how this process may work for you to find your own purpose. It’s relatable and timely to the world we all live in today. The steps are very achievable and the resources she provides are valuable. They helped me put all those thoughts rolling around in my mind into an action plan. I honestly say I am much better off after reading this book!
The book is well written. The tone is very conversational, and the writing well edited, which made this an easy and engaging book to read. It is a 5 out of 5 rating from me! I would recommend reading this book if you are looking to feel inspired and reinvigorated. This is a book you will read thoroughly at least once and then continue to refer to it as a guide over time.
