Guides are very important in the lives of all. Always Strive to Be a Better You is a self-guide that helps you to identify who you are as a person, your purpose, your ability, and what makes you happy. The book centers on you as an individual and how best to discover yourself and improve upon thy ways. Always Strive to Be a Better You written by Pete Hall, acknowledges ordinary people from different spheres of life that have discovered themselves and are living extraordinary lives as a result. This nonfiction book contains life-changing precepts that are divided into 13 key learnings. These key learnings branched out into 4 themes that build upon each other and when followed, will massively aid in improvement. Improvement daily, be it mental, emotional, physical, or career-wise is essential to everyone and hence should never be underestimated.

The book carries so much perspicuity which is carefully detailed to suit every class or group of people; the layman, lower class, middle class, and upper class.
It is easy to forget oneself as we run the rat race of everyday living, however, that is rationale enough to consider a self-help book that harnesses psychological, physical, and mental health issues with simple steps. One insightful line I picked from the book is ‘leave it better than you found it’. The quotes and poems in this book kept me wanting more and more and more. This self-help guide written by Pete Hall is the teacher and friend that you need.

I wouldn't say this is the best self-help book on the market but this book is one you should read. I did not encounter any grammatical errors. The editing stood phenomenal. However, I regard this book as neither concise nor brief. Reading the same point over and over creates blahs and lethargy.

To finalize, I would rate this book a 4 out of 5 stars. There is valuable information in this book that shouldn't be left untouched. The repetition of some significance is the only hindrance to a perfect score. Regardless, I would say that repetition of these facts could be the exact quantity someone may need to heal.

I recommend this book to anyone seeking to answer the question ‘Who am I?’ ‘What is my purpose?’ To anyone on the journey of self-discovery and improvement. Using the quotes from this book, become better than you were after reading this book. That's to say; after reading, implement the knowledge gained for a better you. Always strive to be a better you.
