[Following is a volunteer review of "A Dream For Peace" by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah.]
A Dream For Peace is a compelling memoir written by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah. The author, who was born in Algeria, was brought up by his parents as the only son after his brother went away. Political activism was something he did because he wanted to free Algeria from French colonization. In addition, he was devoted to the abolition of colonialism in other African countries. To complete the task, he joined forces with several individuals who shared his desire to liberate Algeria. The author is a talented individual with many different skills. In addition to being a surgeon and a mediator, he was an ambassador for the revolution and a champion for freedom. The reverse transcriptase enzyme theory was introduced by him as the first scientist. He contributed to the establishment of peace between Israel and Palestine. He married a Christian despite being a Muslim. To find out more, get a copy.
In this book, he describes in great detail how he overcame obstacles in his life, including rejection. I am impressed by the author's courage in taking them on and carrying out his plan to help them. keeping an impartial stance and telling the truth. I have to admit that I respect his guts, bravery, and willingness to give his life in service of his country. Family harmony, academic progress, and the love of peace are other issues covered in this book. Despite all the difficult circumstances, he remains focused on the mission and committed to it. This is one of the things I noticed when reading this book. The author's excellent writing captured my attention.
I gained a lot of knowledge from this book, and I'm sure it had a positive impact on me. The book was motivational and engaging to read. I was tremendously inspired by the author's generosity and perseverance. Even though he was imprisoned and tortured, he persisted in his mission. I now have a better understanding of the history of Africa because of this book. Never giving up on what I stand for is one of the most crucial things I learned from the book. To improve in life, I should also surround myself with people who will inspire me to work harder. And finally, it's never a smart idea to resolve a dispute with violence.
This narrative also made me consider my own beliefs and how content the world would be if all religions coexisted. Because of the knowledge it offered, I greatly enjoyed reading this book; however, the memoir was a little too lengthy, and several assertions were initially confusing to me. To properly understand the meaning being conveyed, I had to read these statements numerous times. I must congratulate the author for his inventiveness and the editor for a job well done, as the book was professionally edited and only two errors were found.
I rate this enlightening book five out of five stars since it gave me a lot of advice on how to set and accomplish my goals. This book is recommended for anyone with an interest in politics, African history, or colonialism.
