Diamond J&G Manor Parlay Gambling House, is a book written by Sylvie L. Gionet. This book talks about Ami Wen, also known as Sing, and her involvement in a gambling house with her two friends despite her sister’s warnings, where she met her lover as she worked as a server. She got pregnant, which was against the rules of the house, so she had to give up her son to her sister, Kana. The book also focuses on Kana, who took the time to train Ami’s son, Lucas, and Lucas's daughter, Sage, in the art of Ninjutsu as well as train them as undercover cops. Sage’s boss, Desiree, her lover, Jase, and Sage’s lover, Paul, were also talked about, as were all their involvements in taking down the gambling house.

I liked the storyline of the book. I loved the fact that at the end of the book, those behind the gambling house were brought to justice. I also liked the fact that the book was easy to understand and the writer used easy-to-understand words. It is either Sylvie did a very good job editing this book or her editors surely deserve a raise as I found no errors at all in the book.

I did not find much to hate about this book. One of the few things I did not like was the fact that the book was rushed and everything happened too fast. As early as page 50 out of 283, Ami’s son, Lucas, had already had his own daughter, Sage. I genuinely don’t know why the author decided to fit three generations of a family tree into a book this short, but I felt she would have made the focus of the book just Ami and Kana’s generation. She didn’t need to involve the other two generations.

I rate this book four out of five stars. I gave it a rating of four because I genuinely loved and enjoyed the end of the book and also because I didn’t notice any errors in this book. I deducted one star because I felt the book was rushed and everything happened really fast. This book is an amazing read in general.

Diamond J&G Manor, Parlay Gambling House is a book I would recommend to all lovers of fiction and a good crime-busting book as well as all those who love the art of ninjutsu.
