Terms of Service by Craig W. Stanfill is a world where hunger and war didn’t exist. A society where artificial intelligence and humans are the only things that matter. In this perfect world, you should abide by the law to avoid the consequences. Kim is a role model, she always abides by the law and is hardworking when it comes to her work. One day, she went into an adventure with Shan; this gate away will lead her to see the other side of the world. A society where there is no artificial intelligence and very different from where she grew up. This will open her mind, but also, where her life will begin to mess up.

What I like about the book is when Shan pursues Kim even though she says things that hurt her. She set it aside and understood where Kim was coming from and never used it against her. I also loved the fact that Kim was able to embrace who she truly is, rather than hiding it and lie to herself. Moreover, I really loved that Kim was able to connect with Kimberly, who could understand her and know what she needs or not. And lastly, I liked the determination of Kim to fight for her freedom and never let anyone deny it from her.

What I don’t like about the book is when Kim says hurtful things to Shan. She can’t control her feelings to the point that the words that she spits are not even rational. As the story goes by, Kim was able to analyze what she did was wrong, and that’s the only thing that matters.

I will rate this book a 4 out of 5 stars, because it is exceptionally edited and I don’t notice a mistake. I just hope that the author was able to include some perspective from different characters, especially Shan. I want to know what the other cast was thinking. Other than that, I really enjoyed reading it.

I will recommend this book to young adults. I feel like this type of book where the perfect world exists and how advanced the technology is would more likely hook them into reading this. They could acquire knowledge and wisdom from this book that they totally use in their lives, and even in research purposes since it can give them an idea on what are the advanced things that humans should have.

I never thought that was gonna happen to Kim and Shan in the Shangri-La. I was quite surprised. I am wondering how they will see and find each other after that. I can't wait to read the sequel. I enjoyed this book by Craig Stanfill, looking forward to more of his works. Your review is wonderful, anyway.

I am awe of Kim's determination to fight for her freedom. A freedom that she never thought she have. I am looking forward to the sequel.
