It is difficult to fight for freedom and peace. Because there are so many people in the world eager to take that from you, the battle does not last a day. Some people suffer every day of their lives because they belong to a different race or nation. A Dream for Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah demonstrates how some people choose to leave things alone while others take a position for what they believe in.

Even as a young child, Dr. Ghoulem became aware of the prejudice and differences present in his country as it was being ruled by France. With the support of his mother, he worked arduously on his education as a young kid before deciding to become a doctor. Not everyone agreed with his choice, but he knew what he was going for. He met other victims of discrimination while attending the institution. They established organizations to combat this. These organizations are devoted to regaining their freedom. Dr. Ghoulem discussed the difficulties he faced, his professional achievements, and the well-known world leaders he encountered while traveling and battling for world peace.

This book covers a thorough history of Africa and some of its countries, a history I was unaware of. In his book A Dream for Peace, Dr. Ghoulem Berrah walked us through this history and the challenges his nation faced. The length of the book was one aspect I enjoyed, and I had no problem with it. The amount of information the book included made me appreciate its length. I expected this book to be this long, but I didn't dislike it at all because it contains so much information about the author, including details about his early years, his experiences, the people he met, and his personal life. I liked that I was able to study the political underpinnings of the book as well as the history of the African nations. The use of images was the one element that brought everything together. It deepened my knowledge and perfectly illustrated what I had in mind regarding the difficulties the author experienced.

Nothing about this book could be bad. It was difficult for me to find anything about this book that I didn't appreciate. The author took the readers on emotional, political, and other high-octane rides. In terms of the emotional element, I particularly liked how the author walked us through his marriage and his bond with his mother. The book was professionally edited, and I would give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars because I learned a lot from it about politics, the struggle for freedom, and the region of Africa.

If you see yourself as a freedom fighter willing to defend your nation and the people you care about, then you will love this book. It also contains aspects of Africa's history that anyone interested would very much appreciate.

This is a book that contains a lot of components and I enjoyed reading it. The only issue I encountered is how lengthy the book is.

This is a rather lengthy book but I like that it contains a lot of history about the author. This is a good book to read at the same time.
