[Following is a volunteer review of "Love All the Way" by Aurora Carafa.]
"Love all the way" by Aurora Carafa is a magnificent story about unconditional love and strong relationships. It is the story of Melanie Foster and Allen Shandi.
Melanie Foster, who faced a hard childhood and was fighting alone, met a loving and kind-hearted gay, Allen Shandi. Allen was loved in the fashion world and in the gay community. Mel who had never experienced love before in life, even after knowing that Allen is gay, could not stop herself from falling in love with him. Though Allen could not love her as a lover, he loved her in every other way possible. Unfortunately, Allen was diagnosed with a terminal illness but that does not affect their bond.
Aurora Carafa is such a great writer. I loved the storyline of this exceptional love story. The way story was smooth and paced with the time. Each character was well-written with the reflection of their life. The book displays every significant emotion such as love, kindness, friendship, loyalty, companionship and consideration. Also, all the characters highlight different kinds of love bonds, as they were not blood-related but were never less than a family to each other. I find myself lost in the book with such detailed scenery and music, the author did a great job with the details.
Moreover, this book shows that a person can love more than one person at a time. Allen is my favorite character, so kind, loving, funny, caring, supportive and so much more. Even after knowing he is left with limited time, he wanted to live life to the fullest with his loved ones. He wanted to make the most vivid memories of his life. His character is really inspiring, especially in today's time. I loved one thing the most about Mel, how she protect her loved ones. Her character is so mature, loving, understanding and soft-natured but the moment someone hurt her loved ones she becomes very intimidating. Furthermore, the ending part was very interesting - the sense of familiarity and the possibility of love.
Love All the Way is a well-written book but there are some typos and errors in the book because of this it is not perfect. A minor omission of quotation marks can confuse the readers with starting or ending of dialogue. Some attention to editing can make this book flawless. Hence, I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.
I recommend this book to all readers who believe in love. Especially the LGBTQ, as it can be an inspiration to them. This book is for mature readers as it contains minor profanity along with sexual content.
