Uri, a special operations arm officer, and Lara, an FBI officer, were required to find out and destroy the plans of some suspected terrorists on US soil. The United States came under terrorist threat after showing support for the Zionist State. These suspected terrorists were said to have bombs in their possession, and they threatened to blow up the US. These terrorists eventually blew up some cities, claiming the lives of innocent citizens and leaving many injured. These terrorists threatened to blow up more cities, but the US would not have it again. Lara and Uri were deployed to find and thwart the plans of these terrorists. Did they succeed?

The first thing that made me love this book was how the author gave a well-structured and developed backstory to every character. It made the story look more realistic, and it will help readers be able to relate to some of the decisions that the characters have to make in this book. Another thing I loved about this book was the twist. Normally anyone would try to predict the end of the book, but the different twists and surprises caught me off guard most times, and I enjoyed it. Although this book contains scenes that may be disturbing to some readers, I think these scenes add the main spice to this book. For example, the scene where Uri slit the throat of the terrorist was so intense, I could feel the heat and tension of the scene within me. The author’s fantastic style of writing was another factor that helped this book flow well. He described every action in minute detail. Reading this book felt like watching an action movie.

The only drawback of this book is that some of the words used are technical. These words slowed me down while reading this book because I had to stop and check the dictionary before continuing. I would have loved it if there was a glossary inside the book or small inscriptions that defined these words so that the reader’s flow would not be impeded.

East Wind, 2nd Edition by Jack Winnick gets a 5 out of 5 stars rating from me because I enjoyed it and the drawback was minor compared to how much I enjoyed it. The editing of this book is top-notch, and I found no errors in it.

I recommend this book to lovers of action movies and thriller novels. They will love this one because of the twists and actions it contains. This book contains some violent scenes that may be disturbing to some readers. This book also contains profane words, so only a mature reader can read it.

Wow .. so the terrorists shift their aggression on the United States because they support Israel? Interesting. I am looking forward to reading this book to find out how Lara and Uri uncover the terrorists.
